Just pop in.....doors are open !!
Hi everyone, Arlene here with Blog 14.
Doesn't time fly!! Well, I had a quiet week after last week's drama. We also had a very quiet healing session last Tuesday. Only one patient arrived and that was one of our healer's mum. I really don't know what else I can do. I have been trying really hard to raise the profile for our healing sessions but I draw the line at walking around Newton Abbot with a board on my back; ha ha.
Next Saturday week, on 25th August, we have another 'Just for you' day with different forms of healing. Opening times are 11am to 3pm. As well as spiritual healing, we will have Reiki healing, Gong healing and Crystal healing. There will also be 30 min private readings for £15 and, of course, refreshments. So if you can't make it on Tuesdays - do come along.
To get back to my problem of low attendance on Tuesdays, I wish I could reach all the people who need healing. Please, just come along and see for yourself. I promise you, you won't regret it. We are ordinary people in an exceptional Church and, as you walk up the path, you will pass all the beautiful hanging baskets which are tended lovingly by Michael, our senior healer and joint vice president of the Church. Above the beautiful oak door is a sign which states a Church has been here since 1697. The door will be open, come on in and you will notice straight away the wonderful ,friendly atmosphere and experience an amazing sense of spiritual love and peace. You will find 'green-fingered' Michael waiting to greet you. He is a lovely healer and a gentle man in every sense of the word. Then we have Helen, a working girl who attends whenever her shift permits. She is also a great healer and has just started bee-keeping which is so necessary for our planet. Next is my lovely sister, Rose, who seems to do most things in the Church as well as being joint vice-president. Now we have two Pams !! Pam G. who is also our Medium bookings secretary and Pam W, who prints all of our lovely notices and tickets. Both serve the Church in many ways. Then we have Simon, our really lovely trainee, I don't know how he puts up with all of us women but he copes very well. He is a truly natural healer already so I know he will be a credit to himself and all of us who are guiding him. Last but I hope not least, is myself.
I am really committed to getting our Tuesday sessions back on track, as I am passionate about healing and I love to serve. Thank you for taking the time to read my blogs.
Love and blessings Arlene
