Hi Arlene here with Blog 27
Two weeks ago, on a Sunday, Alan and myself attended Mathew Mannings' healing circle at Topsham church and it was amazing. I didn't really know what to expect but went along with on open mind and hoped that it would be beneficial for Alan. There were 18 people altogether in the circle and I found Mathew to be very humble and almost unaware of the effect he had on other people. He gave us a brief talk on his experiences over the last forty years of healing. He was also able to explain why so many of his followers had very large bottles of water in front of them.
Now one lady struggled to carry in her two very large containers holding about a gallon in each! I was mystified as I would take about a week to drink that much water. He explained that some people believed that the healing was so great in the room it was absorbed into the water and they were able to drink this "healing" water for days thus prolonging the healing process. Who am I to say different.?? Anyway, he then asked us to join hands and close our eyes. He then went around the circle spending about three minutes with each person. He had started about four people away from me but as he got closer I could feel his energy before he placed his hands on my shoulders. I then went into a deep meditation. The next thing was he told us to come back into the room and told us we had been absolutely still for almost and hour. I felt refreshed and calm and was able to speak to him briefly afterwards and told him about Alan.
The strange thing is he has now moved to Ashburton just a mile and a half from us. So will definitely be booking in more sessions for Alan. To get back to our own healing group, we have started to see an improvement on our healing sessions before services so lets hope it continues. Don't forget Sundays 5pm - 6pm and Wednesdays 6pm - 7pm. Also our Saturdays " Just for You" Saturdays start again on 9th March 11am - 3pm. Where you can have healing (a donation) Reiki £5 and mini readings 30 mins £15, our mediums are fully qualified. Or just pop in for a cuppa and a chat, if that's what you would like.
Love and Blessings Arlene.
First my apologies for my lateness for doing this for Arlene. I am so sorry, sometimes life takes over. Sue
